The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our growing Finance Consulting team in Helsinki.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with CFO organizations, finance leaders, and key stakeholders to modernize and optimize end-to-end finance processes, with a particular focus on Record-to-Report (R2R). You will help redesign how finance operate by improving efficiency, strengthening data-driven decision-making, and building future-ready finance capabilities.

You will work in international project environments as part of EY’s global consulting network, collaborating with experienced professionals and applying leading methodologies and transformation frameworks to deliver measurable impact for clients.

The position is permanent and full-time, with a flexible start date and expected onboarding by early autumn 2026.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant, you will contribute to the transformation of core finance processes. Your responsibilities may include:

• Analyzing finance processes and data to identify improvement opportunities and enhance performance
• Developing target operating models, process designs, and transformation roadmaps using EY methodologies
• Supporting and coordinating project delivery across stakeholders
• Facilitating client workshops and driving process development discussions
• Preparing high-quality materials for decision-making and executive communication

What we look for

• A relevant academic degree (e.g., Accounting, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering and Management)
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, business controlling, or management consulting, including experience in project delivery roles. Experience in working with and/or developing finance end-to-end processes such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay or Record-to-Report is seen as an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Fluent Finnish and English language skills
