At EY, we’re all in to shape your future with confidence.

Join EY and help to build a better working world.

The opportunity

We are looking for a forward-looking Nordics FP&A Lead to join EY. This is an opportunity to lead planning, forecasting and performance analysis across the Nordics, while acting as a trusted partner to leadership on financial insight and decision-making. You will step into a visible role with real impact, helping shape how financial information is translated into action across countries, service lines and business leadership. Based in Finland, you will lead a geographically distributed team and work in a multicultural environment where curiosity, collaboration and strong judgement matter every day.

Your role responsibilities

In this role, you will lead and coordinate planning and forecasting activities, turning multiple inputs into a clear and reliable financial view of the business. You will analyze performance across countries and service lines, identify risks and opportunities, and provide concise commentary that helps leadership make informed decisions. You will also develop scenario models, support business cases and bring forward-looking insights on performance, investments and key business drivers. Alongside the strategic view, you will stay close to the details, working hands-on with data and Excel as part of the day-to-day rhythm of the role. You will also lead and support team members located across the Nordics as well as in Poland, while encouraging consistency, strong collaboration and continuous improvement in FP&A ways of working.

Skills and attributes for success

To succeed in this role, you will bring strong FP&A experience and the ability to move comfortably between analysis, communication and action. You know how to work with large volumes of information, spot what matters most and turn it into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders. You are highly analytical, but also comfortable engaging with people at all levels and speaking up in different forums. You can work independently, make decisions and keep things moving, while also knowing when to involve others and build alignment. Strong Excel skills are essential, as is fluency in English for daily collaboration across the region.

Ideally, you’ll also

You likely have several years of experience in a similar finance leadership role, including people leadership responsibility. Experience in a multicultural or matrix organization would be especially valuable, as this role requires sensitivity to different working styles and the confidence to lead across borders. We also value someone who brings fresh ideas, a proactive mindset and the courage to challenge established ways of working when there is a better path forward.

What we look for

We are looking for someone with drive, sound judgement and an entrepreneurial approach. You are naturally curious, proactive and comfortable taking ownership before questions even arise. You thrive in a demanding environment, stay calm under pressure and bring a collaborative, people-oriented style to leadership. Most of all, you are someone who combines financial insight with business understanding and enjoys helping others make smarter decisions with confidence.

What we offer

We invest in the wellbeing of our employees, and we have a relaxed and caring work community where over 90% of our employees feel they can be themselves. We also offer diverse training opportunities, over 50 employee benefits, a flexible hybrid working model, and coaching to support career development and wellbeing.
