The opportunity

 

EY-Parthenon is looking for Consultants to join our Transaction Strategy & Execution team in Helsinki. Our team works widely across M&A transactions, business transformations, Operations and IT. We are looking for individuals with genuine interest in project delivery, problem-solving capabilities, and a hands-on and driven mindset in management consulting.

 

As part of our team, you will work on high-impact strategy, transaction and transformation engagements across a wide range of industries. Our work focuses on helping clients solve their business challenges, drive performance improvement and create value in dynamic situations.

 

You will work closely with experienced consultants and senior client stakeholders in fast-paced and analytically intriguing projects, often as part of cross-border Nordic and international teams.

 

From day one, you will have meaningful responsibility, direct exposure to client work, and the opportunity to develop yourself quickly as a consultant and advisor. Examples of our work include:

 

  • Supporting M&A acquisitions, integrations, divestments and carve-outs
  • Conducting analysis as part of pre-deal due diligence engagements
  • Helping clients drive operational and organizational transformation
  • Developing value creation initiatives and execution roadmaps
  • Supporting strategic and operational decision-making in client business situations
  • Conducting technology / IT due diligence
  • Supporting IT separation and integration planning and execution
  • Advising clients on the role of technology in transactions and transformations

 

 

What we look for

 

We are looking for ambitious and analytically capable individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy solving complex business problems together with clients and colleagues.

 

The ideal candidate has:

 

  • 1–4 years of experience in consulting, transaction advisory, strategy, M&A, corporate development or similar roles
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to structure complex topics and analyses into actionable recommendations
  • High level of initiative, ownership and learning agility on your own work
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in diverse teams
  • Interest in transactions, business transformation and value creation consulting

 

Additionally for IT-oriented profiles: experience in technology / IT consulting, enterprise IT or technology-enabled transformation, together with an interest in the role of technology in transactions, separations, integrations and broader strategic change.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Master’s degree in business, economics, engineering or other relevant field
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Fluent English skills; Finnish and Swedish are considered an advantage
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and international environmen

  • Partner interview: 25.6. – 26.6.2026

 

The exact start date can be agreed based on the selected candidate’s availability.
