EY’s Valuation, Modeling & Economics practice is currently looking for potential candidates to join our VME team in Vietnam as a Consultant

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Seniors to perform the analysis of historical financial performance and financial position in the business valuation for various purposes (e.g. M&A purpose, tax purpose, financial reporting purpose, purchase price allocation, etc.);
  • Assist Seniors to perform the economy analysis;
  • Assist Seniors to perform the research of comparable companies and comparable transactions which are used as inputs of market-approach valuation;
  • Assist the audit team to review the valuation reports prepared by other valuers (e.g. property valuation reports, Purchase price allocation report, goodwill impairment review, etc.) as an audit procedure;
  • Discuss the assumptions that Clients are using in their business plan

  • Be able to work independently with frequent communication with Seniors/Managers
  • Have high commitments and good can-do attitudes;
  • Be able to work under pressure with tight schedule;
  • Serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams
  • Develop positive, productive and professional relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Demonstrate teamwork and responsibility towards engagement team members

 

Skills and Experience:

We are interested in candidates who have:

  • Graduate degree in Economics, Finance, Audit, Banking
  • Strong accounting and financial background (with 1-2 year working experience in audit will be preferred);
  • Working experience as M&A advisors, financial due diligence advisors will be a plus;
  • Understanding the concepts of building basic financial model;
  • Good capability of analyzing historical financial information;
  • Having good learning attitudes, diligence and paying attention to details;
  • Experience working with public data sources and analyzing economic indicators
  • Ability and flexibility to work alongside team members to ensure the timely completion of work deliverables;
  • Excellent analytical, project management, multi-tasking, communication, organizational, teamwork and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
