About the opportunity

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a HR professional to join our HR business enablement team. As a HR Operations and Payroll Specialist, you will work in a team and play a key role to bring about exceptional employee life cycle experiences as well as deliver smooth payroll operations for the account you manage.

As part of our HR business enablement team, you’ll gain insights to our business issues and imperatives and be able to identify and implement solutions that will stretch your horizons. About you

 

In your role as a HR Operations and Payroll Specialist, you will:

  • Manage full spectrum of HR operations to support employee life cycle, from post-onboarding to off-boarding, with the assistance of shared service team
  • Provide HR related advice to stakeholders and manage escalated employee queries from shared services team
  • Ensure policies, processes and transaction records are compliant to local statutory requirements and corporate policies
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR operations processes
  • Administer local leave system, including assessing employee’s leave eligibility and allocating leave entitlements
  • Process employee’s monthly payroll and tax clearance matters
  • Be responsible for a variety of reports ranging from transactional to management reporting in nature
  • Participate in projects and initiatives as and when opportunities arise 

 

We’re looking for people with the following experience:

 

  • 1 to 3 year's HR Operations; payroll working experience is a plus
  • Possess good analytical skills and is highly numerate and meticulous with a keen eye for details and process improvement
  • Strong interpersonal skills with effective oral and written communication skills
  • Team player, service-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage high volume of transactions with quality in a timely manner
  • Effective organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • IT-savvy with excellent skills in MS office applications. Working knowledge of a Payroll management system is helpful
