The opportunity : Senior Manager-National-Assurance-ASU - FAAS - CSR - Gurgaon

About the Role

We are seeking a high-performing Manager / Senior Manager to lead and manage large-scale CSR initiatives. The role requires a seasoned project management professional who can take complete ownership of program planning, execution, stakeholder engagement, governance, reporting, and impact delivery.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing CSR, education, skilling, or workforce development programs and possess a deep understanding of the ecosystem involving government agencies, academia, industry bodies, training partners, and implementation organizations. We are not looking for experience of vocational skilling.

This individual will serve as the central point of coordination across all stakeholders and ensure seamless end-to-end project delivery, achievement of program outcomes, and long-term sustainability of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Management

• Lead end-to-end execution of CSR projects from inception to closure.
• Develop detailed proposals, project plans, timelines, governance mechanisms, risk registers, and delivery frameworks.
• Drive program implementation across multiple institutions, geographies, and stakeholders.
• Relationship in Government Universities, Ministries and agencies for student/learner mobilisation. Access and connect with delivery Partners in different domains such as Cyber, AI, Analytics, Emerging trends, Etc.
• Monitor project milestones, budgets, deliverables, and outcomes to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks and proactively drive mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with CSR objectives, contractual obligations, and reporting requirements.

Stakeholder Management

• Win relevant CSR projects for the firm.
• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across:
• Government departments and agencies
• Universities and higher education institutions
• Industry associations and sector councils
• CSR foundations and nonprofit organizations
• Training and implementation partners
• Internal leadership and business teams
• Act as the primary interface between sponsors, implementation partners, and beneficiary institutions.
• Facilitate steering committee meetings, governance reviews, and executive stakeholder discussions.

Ecosystem Development & Partnerships

• Leverage existing networks to create strategic partnerships within the skilling, and education ecosystem.
• Identify opportunities for collaboration with government bodies, academic institutions, think tanks, and industry partners.
• Support the design of sustainable models for student skilling, faculty development, curriculum development, certifications, and employability initiatives.
• Stay informed about talent trends, workforce requirements, national skilling priorities, and CSR regulations.

Program Monitoring & Impact Measurement

• Define and track program KPIs, beneficiary metrics, learning outcomes, and impact indicators.
• Drive collection and validation of data from implementing partners and educational institutions.
• Prepare leadership dashboards, quarterly reviews, CSR reports, and impact assessments.
• Present project status, risks, achievements, and recommendations to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Team Coordination

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including content partners, training providers, academic coordinators, and implementation agencies.
• Ensure alignment among internal and external stakeholders to meet project goals.
• Mentor junior project team members where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management, Public Policy, Education, or related field.
• Master's degree (MBA/PGDM/Public Policy/Project Management) preferred.
• Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

• 8–15 years of relevant experience.

Must have:

• Proven experience managing large-scale CSR, education, skilling, workforce development, or social impact programs.
• Demonstrated track record of end-to-end project management and multi-stakeholder coordination.
• Experience working with government institutions, universities, implementation partners, and corporate CSR teams.
• Strong understanding of the CSR ecosystem, education ecosystem, and skilling landscape in India.
• Experience managing programs related to technology, cybersecurity, digital skills, AI, or emerging technologies will be highly preferred.
