Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) – Senior 

 

Job Purpose: 

 

  • You will be responsible for performing end-to-end third-party due diligence, including research, analysis, documentation review, and continuous monitoring of vendors across their lifecycle.
  • Establishing, strengthening and nurturing relationships with clients and internally across service lines and proactively will also be a part of your day-to-day activities.
  • You will assist in developing new methodologies and internal initiatives and help in creating a positive learning culture by coaching, counselling and developing junior team members.
  • In line with EY’s commitment to quality, you’ll confirm that work is of the highest quality as per EY’s quality standards, by reviewing the work provided by junior members.

  

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • The position requires candidates to assist clients with due diligence, background checks and reputational risk assessment services by gathering information on specific targets (individuals/ entities) to highlight any red flags to enable the client to identify issues of concern and managing their risk especially integrity, reputation and background risks.
  • Perform desktop research using public records, commercial databases, and company registries to identify potential risks (e.g., adverse media, litigation, sanctions, financial distress, ESG violations).
  • Assess ownership structure, beneficial ownership, political exposure, group company linkages, and other red flags.
  • Review documentation such as business registrations, annual reports, codes of conduct, certifications, and financial statements.
  • Prepare & review clear and structured reports summarizing findings, risk ratings, exceptions, and recommended actions
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to triage third parties, assign inherent risk ratings, and determine the scope of due diligence.
  • Identify risk indicators, escalate red flags, and recommend risk mitigation or acceptance strategies in line with company policy.
  • Maintain issue logs, and trackers for due diligence outcomes and pending actions.
  • Participate in onboarding, periodic reviews, and trigger-based re-assessments throughout the third-party lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with compliance, legal, procurement, and ESG teams to ensure alignment with evolving regulatory and internal expectations.
  • Assess third parties for modern slavery, forced labor, and human rights risks through document review and adverse media screening.
  • Deliver or support internal and client training sessions on ESG risks, modern slavery, and responsible sourcing.
  • Stay updated on emerging TPRM regulations, best practices, and global enforcement trends.

 

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

  • 4–6 years of experience in Third-Party Due Diligence, Compliance Risk Reviews, or Vendor Risk Management (preferably in a global or consulting environment).
  • Exposure to end-to-end vendor risk lifecycle — onboarding, screening, assessment, and monitoring.
  • Proficiency in risk research tools (e.g., World-Check, Dow Jones, LexisNexis, Orbis, RDC, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Corporate ownership structures, UBOs, PEPs, and control mapping
    • Global sanctions and watchlists
    • Financial health indicators and red flags
    • ESG risks and modern slavery/human rights due diligence
  • Excellent writing skills to synthesize complex findings into actionable reports.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience in due diligence platforms (e.g., Aravo, Coupa, ProcessUnity) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, International Relations, Law, Business, Risk, or related field.
  • CAMS, CFE, or equivalent compliance certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
