EY_Risk Consulting _Manager Win Centre 

As part of our Consulting Enterprise Risk team, our clients look for EY’s expertise across the consulting solutions and specifically for engagements related to Internal Audit, Process compliance and reviews, SOX 404, Payment application, Developing Standard Operating Procedure manuals, Third Party Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management.


The opportunity

As part of the EY Risk Consulting Win Centre, you will be joining a centralized hub for pursuit support, dedicated to transforming every opportunity into an outstanding proposal with a winning value proposition.  In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and implementing comprehensive go-to-market strategies in the Risk Consulting sector. You will have the chance to work cross-functionally with various departments and influence key strategies around solutioning, pricing of our large strategic deals of our risk consulting practice. Your key responsibilities

Support Strategic Deals and RFP’s

In this role, you will collaborate to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and work together to deliver winning proposals. You will also have the opportunity to utilize the best of Data and Tech capabilities to provide a single solution to the client.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategies and plans for new products, offerings and markets in the realm of risk consulting.
  • Foster clear and effective communication with interested parties about our services
  • Draft the scope, approach & methodology, staffing, estimates, and costing through the use of standard/reusable templates.
  • Collaborate with the Solution Architect and Subject Matter Resources to align the overall architecture, design, and value proposition of the deal.
  • Support GATE reviews and client interactions – orals, workshops, pricing discussions & negotiations, SOW support.
  • Create reusable Artefacts from deal supported and maintain a best-in-class repository of reusable material.
  • Ensure alignment with the broader business developments and initiatives.

 

Delivery and Team management

  • Manage a team of Staffs and Seniors (across locations) to manage delivery of the SOX and IA engagements 
  • Conduct / Lead control rationalization and standardization activity or maturity assessments
  • Responsible to define budget, track actuals against the budget and resource planning / scheduling
  • Independently manage client process owners with minimal supervision
  • Meet quality guidelines within the established turnaround time (or allotted budget) to drive the value for the client
  • Demonstrate application and solution-based approach to problem solving while executing client engagements
  • Anticipate and identify engagement related risks and escalate issues as appropriate on a timely basis
  • Design and lead area specific transition plan within agreed timelines
  • Drive process automation and implement opportunities for continuous improvements

 

Market Leadership and client management

  • Executive-level skills in client relationship management and the hold conversations with senior executives. 
  • Partnering with onshore teams to understand client’s business & related industry issues / trends for global clients.
  • Identify buyers, influencers & stakeholders in existing client engagements and build strong relationships.
  • Contribute to new solution development basis the industry trends and client’s problem statement
  • Conduct knowledge sharing discussions & contribute to EY thought leadership.
  • Support multiple innovation initiatives to enhance existing solutions leveraging emerging technologies like Robotics, AI, Advanced Analytics
  • Collaborating with colleagues across multiple service lines, sharing your knowledge and experience to guide business decisions.
  • Monitoring industry news, tools and trends while suggesting potential risks, as well as opportunities to improve the way we work.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • More than 8 years of a “Big 4” or professional firm or professional industry experience in Enterprise Risk (Internal, Audit, SOX, ERM, ESG, TPRM, IT Compliance, ITRM, ITGC, Change Management, SOC1/SOC2 review, ERP Risks and Controls)
  • Strong understanding of SOX, COSO, NIST, COBIT, ISO, ITIL framework
  • RFI / RFP support experience of minimum 1 year
  • CISA / CIA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong academic history (degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering or similar)
  • Strong multi-project management skills
  • Skilled at collaborating, motivating and guiding high performance teams.
  • Cognitive problem-solving capabilities, quick decision-making skills and ability to handle complex situations with a calm demeanor.
  • Exceptional command on spoken and written English
  • Globally mobile and flexible to travel to onsite locations
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think differently and innovate
