About Global Delivery Services
Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centres. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.
Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.
Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.
Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.
Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.
Job Purpose / Role Summary
The L&D Specialist – HRE is responsible for delivering strategic people insights, advanced analytics, and data driven recommendations to support Talent and HR decision making across EY. The role combines deep technical expertise in analytics and digital landscape with strong stakeholder partnership, enabling workforce planning, performance insights, and digital enablement aligned to EY’s talent strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Analytics & Business Partnership
- Partner with senior leadership and Global Talent COEs to understand strategic priorities and translate them into analytics requirements and insights.
- Provide workforce analytics, reporting, and insights to support planning, forecasting, and decision making.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in people data and present recommendations to leadership.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders, Global Talent, and HR Services teams.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, priorities, and delivery timelines.
- Act as a trusted advisor on talent analytics and insights.
Reporting, Dashboards & Data Enablement
- Design, develop, and optimize leadership ready dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence tools.
- Work with diverse data sources, including HR and talent platforms, to deliver scalable analytics solutions.
- Enable analytics using Data Lake / Data Mart architectures, ensuring data quality and governance.
Digital & Technical Enablement
- Collaborate with Analytics and Technical Development teams to support digital interventions and platform enhancements in the Talent Development ecosystem.
- Support integration of workforce data from systems such as People Insights, SuccessFactors, Taleo, and other HR applications.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and legal requirements.
People & Delivery Management
- Lead and develop a small analytics team with a focus on capability development and coaching.
- Plan and manage analytics initiatives using strong program and project management practices.
- Align team capacity and skills to evolving business priorities.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Technical & Analytics Skills
- Strong experience in HR / People Analytics and advanced data analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI (mandatory), including DAX expressions.
- Experience with Excel, Power Apps, and MS PowerPoint for leadership presentations.
- Hands on experience working with Data Lake / Data Mart architectures.
HR Domain Knowledge
- Strong understanding of HR processes and workforce metrics.
- Experience working with metrics such as Coverage, Trends, Business Impact, Participation, Completion, Quality, Individual learning progress, Learning hours, badges, credits.
- Familiarity with HR systems such as PeopleSoft or SuccessFactors.
Professional & Leadership Skills
- Strong client facing and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analytics.
- Proven people management and stakeholder management experience.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and delivery management skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Statistics, Decision Science, MIS, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 7–9 years of experience in people analytics, reporting, and advanced analytics delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of Software development practices , Agile methodologies and Scrum ways of working.
- Exposure to large scale HR or Talent analytics transformations.
