Risk Management Services within GDS is over 1,400 people strong, operates from 4 locations and is responsible for delivering various processes aimed at ensuring Firm and its client serving professionals’ compliance with internal and regulatory policies governing all professional services firms.

 

Risk Management Services (RMS) is an internal function within EY GDS (Global Delivery services), responsible for protecting the organization from the risks that may arise from its professional practice. We work closely with all parts of the organization to identify and manage risks, providing coordinated advice and assistance on suite of services like Independence, Conflicts, Compliance, Financial Crime, regulatory, policy and security issues as well as dealing with claims and queries regarding ethics. Formed in 2007, the RMS team is growing rapidly as a Center of Excellence for all standardized quality/compliance related activities.

 

Job Title: Supervising Analyst

Role: Operations SME 

Job Summary:

This role will be to support the RMS Independence 'Strategy & Operations' team for enabling decision making, developing business strategies, governance and overseeing the operations across multiple locations in India, the Philippines, Poland and Argentina. The role requires comprehensive experience in supporting operations including elements such as, financial planning, billing, account receivables etc. The ideal candidate will possess over 3-4 years of relevant experience and proven technical capabilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support comprehensive financial planning exercises to ensure forecasting and budgeting.
  • Support the ‘Go to market’ data analysis to enable the strategic decisions.
  • Perform data analysis on labor economics, such as rank-grade mix, pyramid management, location concentration, utilization, and productivity.
  • Ensure timely execution of billing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness in client invoicing.
  • Track and monitor expenses to report to team leaders on a regular basis.
  • Track the account receivables and unbilled invoices and collaborate with service delivery teams to drive timely closure. Drive the timely resolution of disputes and closure of pending invoices.
  • Support hiring data analysis, with a focus on ageing.
  • Perform regular reviews of headcount and conduct Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) analysis to optimize workforce allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, RMS Operations to support the processes, implementing process changes.
  • Support monthly reviews with SSF and SF leaders and proactively share best practices with all the Independence teams.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably master’s degree in business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations.
  • Background in Risk Management processes is preferable.
  • Hands-on experience of working as an Individual contributor in the past.
  • Knowledge of service quality management systems and standards.
  • Proven track record of working with a diverse and senior leadership group.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

 

Key Attributes and business skills needed for the role:

  • Advanced level knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint will be essential.
  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse group of people.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum guidance.

Additional Attributes

  • Working knowledge of Program Management and other collaboration tools and platforms (such as MS Access, MS Project, MS Planner, PowerApps, SharePoint, etc.) will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with Scrum and agile frameworks and any project management certifications such as PMP, Prince 2, or Agile/Scrum will be an added advantage.
  • Basic data analytics / visualization skillset (PowerBI) will be an added advantage.
