Executive Director – Revenue Assurance (RA) Center of Excellence (CoE)

Position Summary (Job Purpose)
The Executive Director – Revenue Assurance (RA) CoE Leader will be responsible for establishing, scaling, and positioning a global Revenue Assurance capability within EY Global Delivery Services (GDS).
The role focuses on building a consulting led, technology enabled, and AI driven RA CoE, delivering end to end services across RA advisory, transformation, managed services enabled by automation, analytics, and continuous controls monitoring for Telecommunications and Digital Service Provider clients.
A critical element of this role is to embed intelligent automation and Agentic AI approaches into RA service offerings—moving from traditional detective controls to proactive, autonomous, and self learning RA operating models.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Capability Leadership
- Define and own the vision, strategy, and operating model for the Revenue Assurance CoE within GDS
- Design a phased maturity roadmap covering:
- RA advisory and transformations
- Intelligent controls and continuous monitoring
- Managed services and co sourcing models
- Position GDS and overall EY as a global delivery, innovation, and solutioning hub for Revenue Assurance
Go to Market (GTM) & Client Engagement
- Partner with Global, Area, and Market Telco leadership to support RA go to market strategy
- Lead and contribute to:
- Client pursuits, proposals, and business cases
- Solution design and RA operating model transformations
- Client discussions on revenue leakage, margin protection, and assurance modernization
- Bring consulting judgment and storytelling to complex RA challenges
Agentic AI, Automation & Analytics Enablement
- Champion Agentic AI led Revenue Assurance, including:
- Autonomous detection and prioritization of revenue leakage
- AI agents for exception handling, root cause analysis, and control remediation
- Self learning models that continuously improve RA effectiveness
- Drive adoption of:
- Advanced analytics and data driven RA
- Intelligent automation and workflow orchestration
- Continuous controls monitoring
- Convert AI led capabilities into scalable, repeatable, and market ready offerings
Service Delivery & Quality Oversight
- Provide executive oversight across RA engagements, including:
- Revenue leakage analysis
- Billing, mediation, and usage assurance
- Interconnect, roaming, and digital revenue assurance
- Establish standard methodologies, delivery governance, and quality checkpoints
- Own operational metrics such as utilization, margin, quality, and client satisfaction
- Focus will be on driving efficiencies in delivery and enabling the benefits to the end client.
Talent & Practice Development
- Build and mentor RA leaders with strengths across:
- RA domain expertise
- Technology, data, and automation
- Risk, controls, and compliance
- Develop structured learning and upskilling paths covering:
- Consulting skills
- AI enabled RA
- Client and stakeholder management
- Create a strong RA culture centered on innovation, collaboration, and quality
- Drive team engagement and people growth.
Financial & Governance Responsibilities
- Own practice level KPIs, financial discipline, and growth planning
- Support leadership decisions on:
- Workforce planning
- Investment priorities
- Capability scaling
Skills & Experience Required
Core Experience
- 18+ years of experience across Revenue Assurance, Telco Risk, Controls, or Billing domains
- Deep understanding of:
- Telco revenue models (B2C, B2B, Digital, MVNO)
- Leakage points across order to cash, network usage, billing, and interconnect
Consulting & Leadership
- Proven experience leading consulting or advisory led engagements
- Strong solutioning, proposal development, and executive client interaction skills
- Track record of building or scaling niche practices or CoEs
Technology, Analytics & AI (Leadership Level)
- Strong appreciation of:
- RA tools and platforms
- Data analytics, automation, and visualization
- Agentic AI concepts applied to controls, monitoring, and assurance
- Ability to translate AI and automation into business value narratives
Education & Certifications
- Engineering, MBA, or equivalent postgraduate qualification
- Certifications in Telecom sector, Risk, Analytics, or AI
