Data Engineering & Analytics Support
The Opportunity
As a Data Engineering & Analytics Support professional at EY, you will play a critical role in designing, managing, and optimizing modern data and AI-driven analytics platforms. You will be part of the Data Strategy team, supporting Clients & Industries (C&I) and select EY-wide initiatives by enabling scalable data foundations, advanced analytics, and AI-powered experiences. Your work will directly support business innovation by combining data engineering, analytics, and Copilot-led AI solutions, helping stakeholders move faster from data to insight and action.
Key Responsibilities
- Solve complex business and data problems with a rapid prototyping mindset, intellectual curiosity, and an AI-first approach.
- Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that supply high-quality, trusted data for analytics, reporting, and machine learning use cases.
- Develop standardized and reusable methods to extract, transform, and integrate data from multiple EY systems and tools.
- Build, customize, and manage data integration frameworks, databases, data warehouses and analytical platforms.
- Apply experience with APIs, data sharing, and integration technologies to enable secure and scalable data exchange across platforms.
- Manage data and metadata by transforming raw data into analysis-ready and insight-ready datasets.
- Leverage AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Copilot capabilities to generate summaries, insights, automate analytics workflows, and optimize business processes.
- Design and implement Copilot Studio solutions, including conversational analytics agents and task-specific copilots integrated with enterprise data sources.
- Partner with business and analytics teams to translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations.
- Use data visualization and storytelling techniques to convert complex analyses into clear business value.
- Monitor, optimize, and enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of connected systems and pipelines.
- Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with EY policies, GDPR, and information security standards.
- Identify data optimization opportunities and emerging patterns to unlock additional business value.
- Stay current with emerging technologies across data engineering, analytics, AI, and the Microsoft ecosystem.

Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation, analytics, and pipeline development.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI (preferred) or other visualization tools such as Tableau or Spotfire.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and related analytics services.
- Experience with Copilot Studio for building workflow-driven AI assistants.
- Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and integration with data and Copilot solutions.
- Exposure to Alteryx is preferred but not mandatory.
