The opportunity

We are looking for an Assistant Director – Social Media Marketing & Listening who will be responsible for leveraging social media data for insights to fuel business strategies. This professional is responsible for understanding business requirements and suggest appropriate solutions based on data. This professional will also be responsible for converting data into actionable insights and use story boarding techniques to create reports.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Connect with internal stakeholder to understand business requirements and suggest appropriate solutions
  • Work with business teams to understand their business and research objectives and ensure the questions are answered effectively, and to their satisfaction
  • Analyze and interpret data using a variety of social media tools, secondary research and digital analytics platforms, and other related tools.
  • Candidate should have the ability to analyze the problem statement and develop business strategies based on data
  • Convert data into actionable insights and use story boarding techniques to create reports on PowerPoint.
  • Come to clear conclusions, implications, and recommendations on the way forward.
  • Ability to work as part of an agile team; independent and showing flexibility during peak times.
  • Regularly monitor market & competitive landscape to evaluate existing & upcoming opportunities/ challenges
  • Identify trends, monitor current events and influencers, to anticipate opportunities to engage in and/or lead the conversation in key areas of EY’s work

  • Help organize and participate in online events to build community and meet marketing objectives 

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Excellent business writing and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills to analyse/ translate data and report findings into clear learnings and actionable next steps
  • Ability to analyse, organize and integrate large amounts information into clear concise presentations

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Excellent MS Office skills (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Knowledge about social and digital media research & analytics
  • Working knowledge of Azure and agile ways of working
