The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team within EY. Based in the GCO Enablement Team within GDS India, the role will support in-house lawyers and EY’s business on General Legal and risk management aspects of business. You will provide legal support to the business and become a trusted adviser of stakeholders (often at senior level, including engagement partners). You will be expected to assess and understand how firm risks can be best managed and mitigated.
Your responsibilities
Key responsibilities would include some of the following aspects:
- Reviewing EY publications from legal aspects in line with EY Legal/Risk Mitigation guidelines;
- Contract administration support by assisting business teams throughout the contract lifecycle;
- Prepare response to subpoenas and litigation. Review and redact documents to protect confidential information;
- Analyzing employment agreements to identify risk relating to restrictive covenants and non-compete clauses;
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail, avoiding errors and omissions while assessing and summarizing the risks; and
- Liaise with internal specialist functions including Independence, General Counsel’s Office and Risk Management teams;

Experience and qualifications
- LL. B fresher or someone with 0-1 of post-qualification experience in a relevant field.
