The opportunity
We are seeking an Sr. Manager / Associate Director to join Leadership Enablement portfolio in GDS Client Service, Strategy, and Transformation Team. This role will play a key part in execution of cross Service Line strategic initiatives and programs under CS Portfolio. Expectation of this role is to independently drive (initiate, plan, execute and deploy) cross-functional, cross-service lines leadership-initiatives.
Your key responsibilities
- Drive significant organizational value by independently leading multiple initiatives and internal business transformations that align with strategic objectives.
- Take full accountability for projects from strategic case development through to successful delivery of outcomes, ensuring alignment with and contribution to the broader transformation goals of the organization. and CS wide strategy
- Build, nurture, and leverage strong, influential relationships with senior stakeholders, cross-functional and cross SL leaders. Navigate complex organizational dynamics to drive project success and foster collaboration.
- Bring diverse, innovative, and strategic perspectives to problem-solving, inspiring and guiding teams to explore and implement best-in-class approaches.
- Lead and facilitate high-level Steering Committee meetings, driving critical discussions and decision-making processes in partnership with project sponsors and executive leadership.
- Conduct comprehensive portfolio reviews and project assessments, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to optimize project performance, accelerate outcomes, and mitigate risks effectively.
- Communicate authoritatively and persuasively on business matters, identifying and advocating for opportunities to address complex business challenges through innovative solutions.
- Set exemplary leadership standards by managing challenging situations with diplomacy, confidence, and emotional intelligence. Champion and enable positive change management practices across the organization.
- Oversee the development, maintenance, and strategic use of a comprehensive knowledge repository to support project execution and organizational learning across internal initiatives.
Skills and attributes for success
- Deep and comprehensive understanding of the structure, functioning, and strategic priorities of EY, GDS, and the GDS Client Service organization, with the ability to influence and align initiatives accordingly.
- Broad and in-depth knowledge of various organizational functions, enabling cross-functional collaboration and integrated decision-making at senior levels.
- Extensive exposure to and experience in organizational and team operations, with the ability to optimize processes and drive operational excellence.
- Strong proficiency in interpreting organizational KPIs, financial statements, and complex business reports to inform strategic decisions and measure impact.
- Strong analytical, judgmental, critical thinking, and strategic thinking skills to navigate complex business challenges and identify growth opportunities.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with a track record of building trust and driving alignment across senior stakeholders.
- Expert facilitation skills in leading senior stakeholder discussions, driving consensus, and making informed decisions in complex, high-stakes environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and thrive in a rapidly changing, heavily matrixed, and virtual global environment, managing ambiguity with agility.
- Exceptional prioritization and change management skills, with the ability to lead teams through fast-paced and evolving business landscapes.
- High cultural sensitivity and global mindset, adept at managing and collaborating across diverse geographies and cultures.
- Extensive experience and proven success in project and program management, including managing large-scale, complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders
- Expert-level skills in MS Office suite, including advanced capabilities in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel, to produce high-impact deliverables and executive presentations.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality work products consistently, managing risks and resolving issues proactively to ensure on-time and successful project delivery.
- Strategic use of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies to enhance personal and team productivity, drive innovation, and improve operational efficiency.
- Advanced analytical skills with the capability to analyze large volumes of complex data, synthesize insights, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences, including C-suite executives.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Master’s degree or another relevant advanced degree from a reputed educational institution
- Experience: 12 - 15 years’ experience in similar role in a global environment, experience in professional services / capability center is an advantage
- Certification Requirements: PMP / other PM certifications not mandatory but preferred
