The opportunity
As a Domain Analyst (Assistant Director) at EY, you will become a developing expert on key domain topics, with specialism in areas such as technology, sustainability, or specific subsectors. You will contribute to EY's distinctive perspective on client issues and support programs within your area of expertise to drive growth ambitions. Working alongside the Domain Lead Analyst, you will deliver impactful analysis and insights for senior stakeholders and clients, providing strategic advice on domain developments.
Your key responsibilities
- Develop a strong internal brand to be recognized as a subject matter expert in specific topic areas.
- Engage with senior domain stakeholders to provide commercial perspectives on challenges and opportunities, preparing insightful analysis on the impact of trends for EY and its clients.
- Interact and present to internal EY stakeholders, participate in account meetings, and support domain leaders in preparing for client meetings and events.
- Create commercial impact by activating content with client servers across the EY network and proactively identifying opportunities for EY.
- Collaborate with domain stakeholders and EY colleagues to bring insights that support business development and service delivery to clients.
- Co-create insights with EY SMEs, presenting them in a clear and compelling way.
- Lead the creation of specific insights within areas of specialism, leveraging EY’s proprietary knowledge and collaborating with colleagues.
- Identify opportunities for cross-domain collaboration and share insights with other teams.
- Synthesize diverse perspectives and sources to develop compelling insights that drive results.
- Identify trends and translate them into key market-facing initiatives for EY.
- Coach less-experienced team members to improve their skills in research, analysis, data analytics, and visualization.

What we look for
We are looking for individuals who are curious, strategic thinkers with a commercial perspective driven by an understanding of client experiences and broader marketplace dynamics. You should have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset. A university or bachelor’s degree is required, with a master’s degree or postgraduate qualification preferred. You should have 7-10 years of experience in strategy, business analysis, industry research, management consulting, or business performance, advising organizations in the relevant domain.
