Security and Travel Intelligence Center (STIC) – Global Security
Global Delivery Services (GDS) plays a vital role in supporting EY’s various service lines and business operations across the world. GDS RMS operates from 5 cities- 3 in India (Gurgaon, Bengaluru and Kochi), Manila in Philippines and Wroclaw in Poland. Global Security is the in-house security function for Ernst & Young.
Purpose of Position:
Working under the direction of the Global Security leadership team and GDS RMS Global Security team, the incumbent would be part of the Global Security Support team and will support GDS RMS team overall coordination of emergency preparedness and response and business continuity planning activities globally.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
The Assistant Director within RMS-Global Security team would be required to develop subject matter expertise the Global Security disciplines. An individual should be able to continuously add value to assigned processes and develop solutions for situations that may not have been previously documented. Managing the team across locations, networking with the other RMS leaders at the location and providing long term value to stakeholders. Providing regular feedback to the team members and helping them to move the learning curve will be another important aspect of this role.
- Coordinate and participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive Business Resilience Plans, policies, and procedures across regions.
- Support the establishment and execution of solution/service-level continuity frameworks defined as per policy across regions
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the services, capabilities, and operational models within Global Capability Centers (GCCs).
Client Management:
- Foster and maintain robust relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership, partners, and cross-functional teams to advance the organization’s security vision.
- Embrace feedback to enhance service delivery effectiveness.
- Serve as the main point of contact for Global and Regional Leaders, providing inputs on delivery and process-related matters.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree from a reputed institute
- At least 8-10 years of professional experience, out of which some experience should have:
- Risk/ Crisis Management, Business Continuity, or Incident Management
- Managing reasonably mid-size teams
- Candidates with exposure to handling international customers/client interaction would be preferred.
- Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication (both verbal and written) skills in English
- Credible experience working in a fast-moving, client-driven environment
Other Position Requirements:
- Candidate should be willing to work in evening and night shifts
- Candidate should be willing to work in a flexible week off setup
