Within People Consulting, we are looking for a Senior Manager – Head of Leadership, within the Learning, Leadership and Talent Team, to join either our Geneva, Basel or Zurich offices.

 

The opportunity

As a member of our Learning, Leadership & Talent Team, you will be working with high profile clients and leaders to identify additional solutions to enable transformation projects and strategically partner with various customers to identify leadership needs and possible solutions for organization, departments and individuals.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • “Spearhead” go to market activities and the development of our learning & leadership propositions to achieve personal and team new business targets.
  • Identify internal cross service line opportunities that can be used to support the team’s growth plan and work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and submit bids.
  • Lead large engagements and act in a high-profile client facing capacity. Working with clients to deliver and shape the implementation of their development programs (not internal EY projects).
  • Analyze, design and deliver creative and innovative learning, leadership development and talent management solutions to help client strategy or major transformation projects.
  • Influence clients using your deep domain knowledge, understanding of market trends, consulting skills etc, whilst taking into account the complexities of technology and mindset and behavior change within large organizations.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high quality services in line with our proven global methodologies and tools.
  • Conduct and manage teams responsible for leadership, learning or change needs analysis initiatives and present recommendations when required.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on the use of leading digital tools to enhance innovative, effective leadership offerings experiences to our customers.
  • Promote the professional and personal development of your team members and take the lead in knowledge sharing and training delivery activities.
  • Develop long-term client relationships by introducing and presenting PC offerings as well as by keeping up to date with current developments within the learning industry.

 

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • Significant consulting firm or sales experience in our focus areas of Leadership assessments, -development and -coaching. Industry experience will be considered as beneficial.
  • Experience leading and structuring large scale transformations
  • Bachelor or Master degree in relevant topic areas
  • Experience of managing a sales pipeline, budgets and understanding of engagement economics
  • Ability to demonstrate support for other Leadership or Learning projects
  • People and team management experience
  • Excellent command of English – French and / or German, plus any additional language, seen as a benefit

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Strong and effective strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with high degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to identify and solve tactical issues involving training across varied regions/divisions
  • The ability to excel in dynamic and unconstrained environments framing complex and ambiguous issues
