This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a greenfield project, diving deep into the full development lifecycle. You will be instrumental in building a tool that processes diverse data sources to identify and assess risks, directly contributing to the integrity of the financial services industry.
What We Look For
- You have an agile, growth-oriented mindset. What you know matters. But your ability to rapidly learn, adapt, and design solutions in a fast-evolving tech landscape is paramount. We’re looking for innovators who thrive on challenges.
- You are curious and purpose-driven. We’re looking for individuals who see opportunities instead of challenges, who ask better questions to seek better answers.
- You are inclusive. We’re looking for people who seek out and embrace diverse perspectives, who value differences, and team inclusively to build safety and trust.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Understand emerging AI/ML technologies (especially around LLMs) and rapidly prototype innovative solutions for complex data analysis challenges within the financial services sector.
- Implement scalable and modular data processing frameworks. These frameworks will be designed to ingest and analyze large volumes of diverse, multi-lingual datasets (both structured and unstructured) from various internal systems, financial platforms, and external data providers.
- Integrate advanced analytical algorithms and GenAI models. This involves developing capabilities for tasks such as pattern recognition, risk quantification, and anomaly detection, ensuring the generation of actionable insights.
- Develop basic user interfaces and human-in-the-loop systems for interacting with complex analytical outputs. This will be coupled with the implementation of comprehensive audit trails, logging, and monitoring solutions to ensure system transparency, reliability, and performance.
- Contribute to the entire development lifecycle, including active participation in requirements refinement, system design, rigorous automated testing, defining deployment approaches, and creating documentation for these pioneering tools.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/Machine Learning, or a related STEM field. Understanding of financial services industry would be beneficial.
- Strong programming proficiency, particularly in Python and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, FastAPI, Hugging Face Transformers, Langchain).
- Demonstrable experience in Generative AI, NLP, LLMs and an understanding of Transformer architectures. Experience with deep learning model training is a plus. Any programmatic experience with the following LLM aspects is a strong plus: RAG, Agents Orchestration , Multi-Modality, Few-Shot Prompting, Function Calling, Structured Output, Embeddings.
- Understanding of API integration (REST) and web technologies; experience with web scraping libraries is beneficial.
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Familiarity with version control systems (esp. Git) and software development best practices.
- Experience with or keen interest in UI/UX development (e.g., Streamlit, Dash, or basic frontend frameworks like React/Vue/Angular).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and system design skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. French or German is an advantage.
- A genuine interest in the intersection of advanced technology and financial services, particularly in areas like financial crime compliance, KYC/CDD, or risk management.
