We act for a wide range of international high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, investors and their families, family businesses and/or family offices. Our clients are resident in Switzerland and abroad and their families are typically international.
We aim to be trusted advisers to our clients and deliver a broad range of tax and governance advisory services with the objective to protect and grow their legacy and wealth over generations.
The services we deliver in relation to Owner strategy & Governance include facilitating the design of a family (business) governance, definition of ownership objectives, family employment policies, succession plans and preparing the NextGens for future roles of ownership and leadership, including the implementation of Family Charters, legal agreements, ownership structures and governing bodies.
Our offering is addressed to entrepreneurial families with family businesses, family offices or simply a shared wealth, who will benefit from wealth structuring, a formalized governance and transition planning.

We are growing our team and are looking for a team-player with a strong interest in Family Governance and Family Office services from an advisory perspective. At least 5 years’ experience from Private Client Advisory, wealth planning, wealth structuring and/or Family Office services is essential to be successful in this role.

Your key responsibilities
- Together with our experienced specialists and under the direction of your partner, you will be expected to manage a varied portfolio of clients with complex Swiss and international affairs
- You will act as the first point of contact for part of our clients and will ensure all clients receive an exceptional level of service by applying both technical expertise, excellent communication, and service skills together with our team
- You will build long term relationships with clients and their other advisers including communication and coordination of multi-disciplinary and multi-jurisdictional projects.
- You will advise on our client’s affairs, which may include legal aspects and general compliance, Swiss and foreign corporate and trust structuring, tax and estate planning and philanthropic projects
- In this position, you will be expected to strongly support the business development efforts and develop relationships within the EY internal departments/business divisions, as well as our colleagues abroad
- You will help increase the visibility and reputation of the firm through participation in presentations, seminars and article writing
- You will act with role model appropriate behaviors reflecting the EY values as well ensuring all information shared is treated with the utmost confidentiality
Skills and attributes for success
- A master’s degree in Law and/or Economics, preferably obtained from a Swiss University or equivalent foreign diploma
- Training in Family Business, Family Wealth and Family governance, (e.g. Diploma from FFI or STEP) is a big advantage
- At least 5 years of experience of dealing with a wide range of client requirements within the area of wealth structuring and family office services
- Experience of providing a high standard of service to clients both face to face and over the telephone/email
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including an excellent level of French and English. German would be an advantage
- Good people management skills, autonomous, organized, with an eye for detail and accuracy
- Sound IT skills
- Positive, sociable, and flexible personality who favors teamwork and provides assistance when required
