The opportunity 

Our International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) teams help multinational companies align their global tax position with their business strategy to maintain competitive advantage and provide long-term shareholder value. As a part of this diverse, dynamic and globally connected team, you’ll help clients interpret and navigate the tax complexities of cross-border business and transactions supporting organisations identify critical strategic tax issues and help manage global tax risks and exposure. 

Within ITTS, our growing International Corporate Tax Advisory (ICTA) competency is currently looking for a Manager or Senior Manager based in Geneva.  

 

Your key responsibilities 

  • Multidisciplinary work relating to taxation, in collaboration with experts from different sectors, service lines and jurisdictions. You will contribute to the development of innovative and compliant solutions for complex business and tax issues 
  • Acting as the first point of contact for part of our clients, you will lead mandates and commitments by relying on both your technical expertise and our team. You will be in charge of representing the client in front of the tax administration, leading discussions, supporting tax audits etc. 
  • Besides, you will supervise employees and participate in their training and professional development and contribute to the knowledge sharing within the Swiss and global firm 
  • Achieving your professional ambitions within a young and energetic team and developing your technical skills as well as benefiting from continuous in-house training and a global experts’ network 
  • Continuously increase the reputation and trust of the firm through your participation in seminars, presentations, and publications 

 

Skills and attributes for success 

  • A recognized diploma in Law and/or Economics, preferably from a Swiss university or an equivalent foreign institution; certification as a Swiss Certified Tax Expert (either ongoing or completed) is a significant advantage 
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Swiss corporate tax advisory and compliance services 
  • Proficiency in English is essential, with additional fluency in French and/or German being highly desirable 
  • A humble, autonomous, organized, positive, sociable and flexible personality who favors teamwork
