The opportunity
In the area of Procurement, you will accompany organizations in the implementation of company-wide transformation programs - from strategy and concept development to implementation.
Your key responsibilities
- You will support Chief Procurement Officers (CPOs) in transforming the procurement function in an increasingly digital, data-driven and dynamic business environment
- You will work closely with clients to design and implement innovative, future-ready procurement solutions and build trusted advisor relationships
- You will drive digital procurement transformation initiatives with a focus on delivering measurable value, including efficiency gains, cost optimization and improved resilience
- You will leverage modern technologies (e.g. AI-driven solutions, advanced analytics, automation and digital Source-to-Pay platforms) to enable and accelerate transformation outcomes
- You will be a key contributor and progressively start leading sub-workstreams in client engagements and will work in multidisciplinary teams (e.g., Finance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions) to deliver high-quality services in line with our proven global methodologies and tools
- You will support the business in developing EY knowledge and concepts for our practice, while also actively establishing, maintaining and strengthening internal and external relationships
- You will build your management consulting and procurement capabilities to become a valued contributor to our clients’ transformations and for your own personal career journey
What we look for:
- As a Consultant / Senior Consultant, you already have procurement experience at a management consultancy or in industry through working in complex and significant project delivery. You may already have led small teams within a project
- You will have meaningful experience (2-5 years) in one of the following areas: procurement strategy and category management, procurement operating model, supplier management and supplier innovation, source-to-pay management
- You will have a strong interest in digital technologies and their application in procurement, ideally with initial hands-on experience
- Familiarity with procurement technologies (e.g. SAP Ariba, Zycus, Archlet, ORO Labs, Zip, Omnea, Fairmarkit or comparable solutions) is an advantage
- As an international company, we require fluency in English; German is a strong asset. Fluency in French is desirable.
