The opportunity

 

With the continuing and rapid development of tax technology solutions and in particular Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions, it is necessary to enhance our operational models to achieve success in the future. In preparation for the future, EY Tax and Law have created a new “Centre of Excellence” (CoE) to support SaaS solutions throughout their lifecycle.

The objectives of the SaaS CoE are twofold:

  • Operational management of Tax and Law SaaS solutions and
  • Sales enablement and support to drive the market success of these solutions

 

In joining the SaaS CoE, you will have an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of this new business unit, becoming deeply embedded in the operational management of the SaaS CoE and thus ensuring the smooth running of the technology solutions that it supports.

 

Your Role


You’ll work alongside clients and colleagues, balancing your time between supporting business development activities by providing tailored solutions, advising clients on transformation initiatives, delivering solution workshops, networking with our regional leaders and BD teams, supporting market campaigns as well as work with technology ecosystem partners to position our differentiating solution propositions. Since you’ll be working directly with clients and regional client teams, some travel may be required.
 

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

 

  • Achieve agreed upon total sales quota with Global Tax SaaS Go-to-Market Leader
  • Perform the role of Go to Market and Solution Sales Lead for taking Indirect Tax Technology to clients across the region.
  • Build a strong network with our regional leaders across service lines, key client account leads and Markets / BD leads to help build a strong pipeline in the region and support key sales and accounts plans to achieve and exceed targets
  • Be responsible for solutions that integrate People, process, technology and facility/location components into an effective and efficient solution, while creating tailored value propositions to address client expectations
  • Help prepare proposals / presentations / statement of work (SOWs) and respond to RFIs / RFPs by articulating EY’s value proposition against the customer defined requirements and propose winning solutions 
  • Work closely with Global and Regional Tax teams to ensure the proposed solution has the highest level of assurance along with well-defined service level management approach to effectively manage risk of engagements
  • Support the delivery teams on Service Transition and Service Management when the engagement is being setup up; at least until service delivery stabilization is achieved
  • Ensure both personal and professional skills are kept up to date for successful execution of role
     

Preferred experience:

 

  • 10+ Years of indirect tax software B2B and pursuit management experience
  • Hands-on experience of successfully selling and solutioning applications across different technologies
  • Successful achievement of set goals / targets in the last three consecutive years
  • Expertise in constructing indirect tax solutions with innovative commercial models
  • Experience in solutioning / delivery of service optimization, service automation, and innovation in service delivery management
  • Experience in selling / shaping annuity deals involving enterprise platforms (SAP, Microsoft, etc.) is preferred 
  • Strong presentation skills and ability using Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – English (Must), and other regional languages based on markets (Preferable)
