Business Transformation Analyst

Working at EY Business Consulting is a unique combination of developing consulting skills and learning about the specifics and complexities of many sectors of the economy, including in particular energy, oil & gas, and heavy industry (e.g., chemical and defense). By advising the largest companies in Poland and abroad, you will participate in, among other things, strategy development, large infrastructure projects, ESG and sustainability projects, restructuring and transformation projects, and international M&A processes. With the support of a dynamic and experienced team, you will derive satisfaction from the results of your work and their appreciation by our clients.

• Developing a climate policy for a large capital group in the raw materials industry;

• Developing a strategy for an entity in the defense sector;
• Preparing a decarbonization strategy;
• Developing an operating model for a capital group in the energy sector;

• Analysis of strategic options for one of the European refineries;

• Comprehensive analysis of the activities of a chemical company, including identification and quantification of restructuring initiatives;
• Feasibility study for a cross-border gas transmission pipeline in Southern Europe;
• Commercial due diligence for the Israeli electricity and natural gas market;

• Feasibility study for the construction of a waste thermal conversion plant;

• Feasibility study for the construction of a large-scale green hydrogen production plant;

• Support for a leading global defense company in defining and implementing its strategy for entering the Polish market.

Your scope of duties:

• Active participation in strategic, restructuring, transactional, and operational projects as one of the leading members of the project team;

• Structuring business challenges facing clients – independently searching for and proposing solutions;

• Developing market analyses, reports, and recommendations for ongoing projects;

• Preparing quantitative analyses – spreadsheets and financial models;

• Active participation in internal (EY team) and external (with clients) meetings;
• Building consulting and industry knowledge and competencies;

• Opportunity to get involved in internal initiatives (e.g., recruitment process, training process for less experienced team members);
