The opportunity

 As an Assurance Manager, you will be a professional member of Assurance practice.  Together with our substantial investments in technology, knowledge, and learning resources for our audit professionals, you will be part of the team that delivers quality assurance services to our clients and their stakeholders. 

 

Your key responsibilities

 As an Assurance Manager you will deliver quality assurance services to our clients and their stakeholders.

 

Skills and attributes for success

  •  Manage key components of multiple engagements including the strategy, planning, risk assessment, team management, engagement economics and delivery of exceptional client service
  • Take a lead role in the consultation process for complex accounting or auditing issues
  • Understand our service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients
  • Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring all levels of staff
  • Consulting with clients on complex accounting issues
  • Collaborating with partners and clients to influence strategy, balancing risk and client expectations
  • Ensuring our Engagement team thoroughly understands our clients’ unique needs, ambitions, and expectations
  • Building relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service
  • Managing performance and identifying opportunities to improve our products and processes
  • Assist partners with generating new business opportunities and building client networks and relationships
  • Understand our service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients
  • Build strong internal relationships within Assurance and across other service lines
  • Manage key components of multiple engagements including the strategy, planning, risk assessment, team management, engagement economics and delivery of exceptional client service
  • Take a lead role in the consultation process for a complex auditing issue

 

To qualify for the role you must have

  •  A degree in Accounting, BICA/ACCA qualified, registered member of BICA
  • CA (B) ACCA or Equivalent
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience working as an auditor for a public accounting firm, or particular business/industry experience to meet special needs
  • Excellent project management skills, advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • A dedication to teamwork and leadership
  • Integrity within a professional environment

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  •  The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment
