As you write your next chapter, what shape will it take?
Are you ready to take the next step in your M&A career and work on some of the most exciting deals in the market? We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Transaction Strategy and Execution team in Copenhagen.
In this role, you will be part of a high-performing team that supports clients across the full deal lifecycle: from M&A strategy to execution. You will work closely with clients on complex, high-impact engagements, where your insights and capabilities will drive real results. At the same time, you will play an active role in shaping our team, contributing to a strong culture and supporting the development of future leaders.
Shape your future with confidence.
Skills and attributes for success
You are analytically strong and comfortable working with complex data and problem-solving. You bring a structured and pragmatic approach, combined with strong business understanding and attention to detail.
You thrive in fast-paced environments and can manage ambiguity while maintaining focus on delivering high-quality outcomes. At the same time, you communicate clearly and confidently, translating complexity into actionable insights for both clients and colleagues.
You bring experience from client-facing or in-house roles across the M&A cycle (pre- and/or post-deal) and operational delivery, for example:
- Carve-out and operational due diligence
- Assessing standalone viability, cost structures and operational risks to inform deal decisions and separation planning
- Value creation and synergy assessment
- Identifying, quantifying and tracking revenue and cost synergies, and embedding them into value creation plans and integration and execution activities
- Deal strategy and deal management
- Supporting deal strategy and execution, including coordinating with stakeholders and driving governance, planning and milestone tracking across the transaction lifecycle
As a Senior Consultant, you will work across a range of M&A engagements spanning M&A strategy, operational diligence, as well as value creation and deal management. You are passionate about the operational aspects of M&A, thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, and build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Conducting operational due diligence/value creation analysis
- Managing and driving workstreams across pre- and post-deal engagements
- Supporting business development through pitch content, proposals and client conversations
- Coaching and supporting more junior team members, and contributing to practice development initiatives
What we look for
As our new colleague you bring 3-6 years of experience from strategy and M&A consulting or industry experience. You bring an inclusive approach, building strong relationships with both clients and colleagues and are a strong communicator who can translate complex ideas into clear and actionable insights. You take ownership of your work with a consistent focus on quality and impact.
What’s in it for you
- Work on complex, high-profile M&A and divestment engagements
- Collaborate with integrated teams across geographies and disciplines
- Continuous coaching, feedback and formal learning to support your development
- Hybrid work model, balancing in-office and client-site collaboration with flexibility
- A role with broad responsibility and room to shape how we deliver and grow
What you can expect during the recruitment process
- Interview process will include a take-home case and an on-the-spot case
- Your CV gives us the basics; a strong cover letter helps us understand your motivation and relevant experience beyond M&A consulting
Please submit your application no later than 7th June 2026. Selection and interviews are ongoing.
