Junior DevOps Engineer for Nordic Digital Studio (in-house)

Our technology team in EY, Nordic Digital Studio, is expanding and are looking for new team members to join us building applications for the future. As a member of Nordic Digital Studios, you will work in small agile teams operating in a startup-like environment, with short communication lines. In our team, all team members are expected to take responsibility and required to participate in continuous discussions on architecture, implementation and practices. Our team works across the Nordics and from several locations. Our activities are tailored for hybrid working, and many of our projects also include resources outside of the Nordic region, giving you the opportunity to network with colleagues from all over the world. This position is primarily based in our Copenhagen office. 

Responsibilities

• Support implementation, and maintenance of Azure-based 
   infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS).
• Assist in building and maintaining Azure DevOps based CI/CD 
   pipelines.
• Manage certificates for services (provisioning, renewal, deployment, 
   debugging issues).
• Implement alerts on various aspects of infrastructural components.  
• Collaborate with developers for infrastructure support, assisting 
   developers with deployments and related basic troubleshooting. 
• Follow best practices for security, compliance, and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or a 
   similar software engineering role.
• Basic working knowledge of public cloud infrastructure, preferably 
   Azure. 
• Fundamental experience with Azure DevOps pipelines. 
• Understanding of certificate management and fundamental networking 
   concepts.
• Practical exposure to version control (Git). 
• Log investigation and service monitoring skills.

Good to Have

• Familiarity with bash scripting, and/or basic Linux commands. 
• Exposure to containerization technologies and container platforms like 
   Docker.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (deployment objects, service configuration, 
   troubleshooting) and Helm.
