The Opportunity
Are you a proactive, business-oriented HR professional with a strong commercial mindset and an interest in working closely with one of EY’s core service lines?
EY Tax & Law is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support our Danish Tax & Law practice and work in close collaboration with leaders across the Tax & Law Service Line. As part of EY, our Tax and Law professionals help clients navigate complex regulatory and legal requirements, manage risk, and create sustainable value through integrated tax, legal, compliance, reporting, and advisory services in a constantly changing global environment.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, supporting the business in translating strategy into people actions and ensuring strong employee experience across the full HR agenda.
Your Key Responsibilities
As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in driving and implementing HR strategies into operational execution within the Tax & Law Service Line. You will work closely with senior leaders and managers, balancing strategic advisory with hands-on HR delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving the annual performance management and remuneration processes within Tax & Law.
- Coaching leaders on performance, talent development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.
- Being highly visible in the business and building strong relationships with leaders and employees across the Tax & Law organization.
- Acting as a trusted sparring partner to leadership on people- and organizational topics in a complex, regulated environment.
- Using data and insights to identify people trends, risks, and opportunities and translating these into pragmatic HR solutions.
- Serving as the first point of contact for HR-related matters within Tax & Law and supporting the broader Talent team agenda.
- Supporting change initiatives, workforce planning, and leadership development to ensure Tax & Law has the capabilities needed for the future.
You will be part of EY’s Talent Team in Denmark and have a direct reference to the Nordic HR Business Partner, while collaborating closely with HR colleagues across Denmark and the Nordics
Skills and Attributes for Success

To succeed in this role, we believe you are:
- An experienced HR professional with solid HR Business Partner experience, ideally from a complex, professional services or regulated environment.
- A pragmatic, credible, and relationship-driven advisor who can challenge and support leaders with confidence.
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels in a fast-paced, high-performance organization.
- Skilled at navigating ambiguity and translating complex business challenges into people-focused actions.
- Confident in facilitating discussions, workshops, and leadership dialogues in both physical and virtual settings.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written; Danish is an advantage.
You are curious, resilient, and motivated by making a tangible impact on business outcomes and employee experience. You enjoy working collaboratively while being comfortable taking ownership and responsibility.
