Are you ready to take the next step in your M&A career and work on some of the most exciting deals in the market? We are looking for an Engagement Manager to join the Strategy and Execution team at EY-Parthenon in Copenhagen.
In this role, you will be part of a high-performing team that supports clients across the full deal lifecycle: from M&A strategy to execution. You will work closely with clients on complex, high-impact engagements, where your insights and capabilities will drive real results. At the same time, you will play an active role in shaping our team, contributing to a strong culture and supporting the development of future leaders.

Skills and attributes for success
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Engagement Manager to join our Strategy and Execution team. The ideal candidate has 7-8+ years of experience in M&A strategy and execution across both pre- and post-deal engagements. You bring experience from client-facing or in-house roles across the M&A cycle and operational delivery, covering:
- Product and technology diligence
- Assessment of the product portfolio and roadmap, together with the underlying technology and R&D setup to evaluate commercial attractiveness/value creation potential
- IT diligence
- Evaluating the IT environments, from strategy to costs, to identify risks and opportunities, and to inform the investment case
- Technology integration and separation
- Planning and managing technology workstreams, from strategy to execution/operationalization
- Digital value creation
- Assessing digital and AI-driven value creation opportunities, and implications for the deal theses and post-deal value capture
As an Engagement Manager in the team, you will lead complex M&A engagements, as well as developing our team, so that they can realize their potential.
Your main responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to a variety of pre- and post-deal engagements, including product and tech due diligence, digital value creation as well as managing workstreams as part of integrations or carve-outs
- Assist in aspects of business origination, including pitches and presentations, and working in project teams comprising other colleagues
- Contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work
- Act as a role model and support development of junior team members, coupled with the recruitment and training responsibilities
