Strategy and Innovation Consultant - EY Parthenon - Mauritius

Join the Strategy and Innovation team of EY Parthenon, based in Mauritius, serving Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa, with an entrepreneurial, disruptive and design-led approach to strategy consulting. Our team comes from Singapore and Silicon Valley and we work with ambitious clients on Moonshot Projects, and accelerate innovation by bringing together business, design and technology, and social impact.

The Opportunity:

Design an approach to tackle inequality, help transition from coal in the depths of an energy crisis, build innovation capability in governments, support the adoption of AI across an organization, or launch a new InsureTech disruptor in Africa. Think like a strategist, and build like an entrepreneur.

We are recruiting consultants to join a small and diverse, multi-disciplinary team in Mauritius.

Here’s what it takes

You will be responsible for supporting our client projects, from business development, to project delivery.

Your regular duties:

• Conduct written primary and secondary research on industries, companies, and end-users.
• Organize sprints, hackathons, and innovation challenges.
• Prepare PowerPoint and other media presentations for clients.
• Manage projects, using an Agile Project Management approach.
• Write professional client reports.
• Build trust with clients through regular communications.
• Be willing to travel across Europe, the Middle East and Africa

Qualifications:

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Social Science.
• You have one year or more of work experience. Please note that internships are not counted as work experience. 
• You have experience leading teams to achieve successful outcomes (e.g., as a club president, in a sports team, or at school or work).
• You are based in Mauritius.
