Technology Consulting business is a fast-growing sub-service line within EY’s Consulting service line. A dynamic group focused on providing high-value independent, trusted advice to clients, with a focus on transformation programmes.

EY work with clients in creating value and delivering world-class Digital, Data & IT capabilities to support business needs. Working closely with our industry groups and leveraging the EY brand as independent, trusted advisors, we provide our high-profile clients with a range of services.

The opportunity

As part of the continued growth of our Digital, Data and AI practice, we are looking to hire a Senior Consultant to support the delivery of our AI offerings to clients.

This role will focus on working with clients to define, shape, and deliver AI strategy, governance, and use cases, while contributing to the development of our broader Data and AI capabilities across industries.

You will play a key role in driving client workshops, structuring complex problems, and translating AI concepts into practical and scalable business solutions.

Your key responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate client workshops and working sessions to define AI strategy, identify use cases, and align on data and AI priorities
• Translate business challenges into AI and analytics use cases, including prioritisation, value articulation, and roadmap development
• Develop high-quality client deliverables including assessments, reports, AI governance frameworks, and executive-level presentations
• Support the design and implementation of AI governance and risk frameworks, including management of internally developed models, third-party ML models, and LLMs
• Contribute to the establishment of AI operating models and Centres of Excellence, including AI literacy, training, and adoption approaches
• Work closely with technical teams to guide the development and deployment of machine learning models and AI-enabled solutions
• Support data readiness for AI, including data governance, data quality, and enabling data platforms
• Contribute to the growth of EY’s Data and AI capabilities through proposals, thought leadership, and client engagement activities

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong ability to structure problems and facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders
• Proven experience in developing reports, presentations, and executive-level deliverables
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business insights and actions
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
• Proactive, analytical, and able to deliver in a fast-paced consulting environment with a growth mindset open to learning and growing.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 3+ years of experience in data, analytics, AI, or digital transformation
• Education in:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science and Analytics, IT or engineering
• Understanding of:
  • AI and machine learning concepts
  • AI governance and responsible AI principles
  • AI use case identification and value realisation
• Exposure to data governance, data platforms, or analytics solutions
