Job Description:

At EY, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in payroll and leave management, specifically using Sage software. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes, contributing to the overall success of our HR operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Accurately process monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Leave Management: Manage and track employee leave records, ensuring accurate leave balances and timely updates in the Sage system.
  • Data Collection and Input: Collect and input payroll data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll laws and regulations, including tax filings and social security contributions.
  • Reporting: Generate and distribute payroll reports to management, providing insights and analysis as needed.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll-related queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain and update payroll systems and records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations and support other HR functions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in payroll and leave management, with a strong focus on using Sage software.
  • Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Sage payroll software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
