The Talent team at EY provides effective talent solutions that support our business strategy and employer value proposition.  Our Talent teams work in an integrated manner, leveraging solutions and best practices to provide effective talent solutions. The teams are responsible for enabling the business, driving the engagement of our people locally and bringing our strategy and employer value proposition (EVP) to life. 

Your key responsibilities 

You will engage with our employees and stakeholders across various levels of the organization. You will be part of the talent team responsible for talent acquisition, managing the employee life cycle, performance management, employee engagement and HR operations. Your key responsibility will be to ensure a successful delivery of HR services to our people.  

  Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support talent acquisition and attraction
  • Support and lead end-to-end recruitment for campus and experienced hires in line with business needs
  • Work closely with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs
  • Manage the end-to-end Occupation Permit and Work Permit process for expatriate hires
  • Support employee lifecycle processes from onboarding to exit
  • Support learning and development activities and manage HRDC refunds
  • Manage the EY education loan scheme
  • Maintain and update HR databases and employee files;
  • Actively support employee engagement activities
  • Leave management
  • Deliver high-quality service to all employees in line with HR processes and service level agreements
  • Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate records; 
  • Support HR colleagues with daily operations, as needed; 
  • Assist with preparing employment letters, contracts, and any other administrative task;
  • Probation management and support related follow-up processes;
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records;
  • Ensure compliance with internal EY policies and local labour requirements;
  • Carry out any other cognate duties

   To qualify for the role, you must have: 

  • A university degree in HR management or any related field; 
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in HR would be an advantage;
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal skills and teaming skills;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and French;  
  • Accuracy, attentiveness, sense of duty, ownership and responsibility

 Ideally, you’ll also have  

  • Good knowledge of local employment laws 
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint…) 
  • Previous experience in HR would be an advantage
