The Opportunity

As a Senior IT Auditor, you will play a key role in delivering technology risk and assurance engagements while leading teams, managing client relationships, and helping organizations build trust in their technology environments.

You will work alongside high-performing professionals and gain exposure to complex business processes, emerging technologies, cybersecurity risks, and data-driven transformation initiatives across diverse industries.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Senior IT Auditor, you will:

  • Lead and manage IT audit, technology risk, and data analytics engagements from planning through completion.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop tailored audit strategies aligned with client objectives and emerging risks.
  • Review and evaluate IT General Controls (ITGCs) and IT Application Controls (ITACs) across complex technology environments.
  • Lead client workshops, walkthroughs, and stakeholder discussions to assess technology processes and control frameworks.
  • Perform advanced data analytics to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and business insights.
  • Review engagement documentation and ensure compliance with EY methodologies and professional standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide practical, value-driven recommendations.
  • Prepare and present findings to client management and executive stakeholders.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop junior professionals while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and support the growth of EY's Technology Risk & Data Analytics practice.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in: Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Accounting Information Systems Or a related discipline

Professional Certifications

The following certifications would be considered a strong advantage:

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
  • Or equivalent professional qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • IT Audit, Technology Risk, Cybersecurity, IT Compliance, Data Analytics

Technical Knowledge

Strong understanding of:

  • IT General Controls (ITGCs), T Application Controls (ITACs), Risk Management Frameworks, Technology Governance, Cybersecurity Principles and Control Frameworks, Data Analytics methodologies and tools

Experience with technologies such as SQL, Power BI, Alteryx, ACL, or equivalent analytics platforms will be considered an advantage.

Exposure to enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Finacle, Flexcube, or similar business systems is highly desirable.
