  • Support the identification of improvement opportunities across finance operations, reporting, analytics, automation and controls.
  • Help translate Finance function challenges into practical technology-enabled solutions.

  • Use tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, Power Automate, VBA and GenAI tools to support project work.

  • Contribute to internal knowledge development around AI, automation, analytics and digital finance use cases.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong interest and practical capability in data, analytics, automation and digital finance, including:

  • Strong experience or hands-on exposure to ETL tools, Python, Power BI, SQL and data management tools.
  • Fundamental understanding of Generative AI tools and their practical applications.
  • Ability to demonstrate how GenAI has been used, or can be used, in current work, academic projects or previous roles.
  • Exposure to Python / PySpark, AI/ML concepts and advanced analytics will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
  • Experience with automation tools such as VBA, UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify patterns, structure findings and communicate insights clearly.

Interest in emerging technologies relevant to Finance, including AI, automation, analytics, fintech, blockchain and cloud-based finance solutions.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in finance transformation, consulting, advisory, analytics, automation, data, digital transformation, audit transformation, finance operations improvement or related roles.
  • Experience supporting projects where technology, data, automation or analytics was an important component.
  • Exposure to finance process improvement, reporting, dashboards, automation, analytics or digital transformation projects.
  • Understanding of current CFO and Finance function challenges, including manual processes, fragmented data, slow reporting cycles, limited automation and the need for better insights.
  • Exposure to Finance processes such as Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting or management reporting will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation and communication skills.
