Our Economics Advisory Practice solves problems in policy, strategy, international development and commercial decision-making by applying economics thinking, frameworks, and specialized analytical tools. We work closely with a range of government and private sector clients to address their most pressing strategic and regulatory challenges. Our Economics Advisory team is going through an exciting period of growth, and we are looking for experienced Manager to join our team in Singapore.
Your key responsibilities
As a Manager, you will play a leading role in the growth and development of our team and business, manage and ensure successful delivery of engagements that tackle the most prominent development, policy, and business concerns, and build constructive client relationships in Singapore and across the region.
- Overall project leader who will manage the working team and client relationships, and ensure overall quality control to successfully deliver project outcomes
- Develop new and maintain existing intellectual property, including methodologies in both qualitative and data-driven analysis
- Business development responsibilities, including drafting of proposals, bringing new ideas to clients, and making public presentations
- Produce compelling thought leadership articles for external circulation
- Establish internal and external networks to drive new opportunities
- Coach and mentor junior members of the team
What we look for
- Degree in economics, public policy, international development (or related ones) from a reputable university with a strong academic track record. Master's degree is a plus
- At least 6 years of leadership and project management experience in a consulting / client facing environment
- Recognized thought leader in two to three areas of economic strategy and/or economic development (e.g., climate economics, labour market development, industry promotion etc.)
- Strong expertise in a few areas of economics such as economic impact analysis, econometrics, macroeconomics, cost-benefit analysis, policy and regulatory analysis, climate modelling, or social impact quantification
- Excellent strong problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrate complex stakeholder management capabilities
- Commercially driven and have a strong sense of ownership
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry influencers, and strategic partners
