About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Finance Improvement team, driving finance transformation initiatives across finance, operations, and technology functions. The successful candidate will work with business stakeholders to assess current-state processes and reporting capabilities, develop target operating models, KPI and reporting frameworks, and support implementation of prioritised process, reporting and technology-enabled improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Transformation & Process Improvement

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops and fact-finding sessions to understand business challenges, identify root causes and gather business requirements
• Assess current-state processes, operating models, organisational structures, controls, systems and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities
• Analyse findings and develop recommendations and prioritised improvement initiative
• Develop transformation roadmaps, including implementation phases, key action plans and business cases, to support execution of transformation initiatives
• Design interim and target finance operating models, including processes, systems, organisational structures and key capabilities required to support operational stability and future scalability

Support Implementation & Quick Wins Initiatives

• Identify and implement targeted improvement initiatives and quick wins
• Design and standardise finance processes, policies and controls across entities and geographies
• Develop SOP documentation, including process workflows, process narratives, month-end closing calendars, roles and responsibilities, and key controls
• Develop source-to-report mappings, data dictionaries and reporting requirements documentation
• Support automation and digital enablement initiatives through requirements gathering, solution assessment and implementation activities
• Support vendor evaluation, solution selection and implementation planning for technology-enabled transformation initiatives
• Support execution of prioritised transformation initiatives through program management, stakeholder alignment and change management activities

Financial Performance & Value Creation

• Assess existing management reporting, KPI frameworks and performance management processes to identify reporting gaps and decision-making requirements
• Define key business value drivers, operational and financial performance metrics, and KPI requirements
• Develop KPI frameworks, KPI definitions, calculation methodologies and performance measurement targets
• Design management reporting processes, reporting calendars, roles and responsibilities
• Develop management reporting packages, executive dashboards, and KPI scorecards, including reporting content, visualizations, drill-down analyses, and decision-support data
• Design reporting processes, source-to-report data flows, and supporting system requirements
• Identify automation opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency and analytics capabilities
• Support implementation of enhanced management reporting, data analytics and automated management reporting solutions 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent are advantageous.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in professional services firms will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of finance processes and familiarity with ERP and finance systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, BlackLine, etc.).
• Experience with automation and analytics tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or equivalent is advantageous.
• Experience in finance transformation, process improvement, performance management, management reporting, ERP, or digital transformation initiatives.
