In an increasingly uncertain world shaped by volatile megatrends, the economic advisory team supports our clients to address their challenges in policy and strategy, regulations, and commercial decision-making by applying economics thinking, frameworks and other specialized analytical tools. We are going through an exciting period of growth and are looking for outstanding candidates with strong consulting, economic and/or public policy backgrounds to join our team in Singapore.

As a Senior Associate, you will play a leading role on our engagement teams, providing robust and high-quality analysis to support the successful delivery of projects that tackle the most prominent development, policy, and business concerns.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead specific project workstreams
  • Quickly develop economic and consulting toolkits including problem solving, modelling, data analytics, primary research and report writing
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to analyze economic trends, market dynamics, and industry developments. Lead the preparation of economic reports, feasibility studies, and impact assessments
  • Develop and maintain economic models and databases
  • Stay abreast of latest economic research, methodologies, and industry advancements
  • Participate actively in professional development opportunities
  • Support senior executives in business development activities such as contributing to proposal development

What we are looking for

  • Degree in economics (minimum 2:1) from a reputable university with a strong academic track record. Master's degree is a plus
  • 3-6 years of working experience, preferably in consulting, government, public policy or quantitative fields
  • Possesses independence and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Strong numerical, writing, and communication skills
  • Experience in econometric techniques, economic modelling and comfortable with using statistical analysis tools
  • Strong ability to draw out relevant insights from the analysis and present them through compelling narratives
  • Demonstrated interest and knowledge in economic topics including but not limited to macro developments, labour markets, government policies, and international development
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for projects and client deliverables
  • Intellectual curiosity, driven, and exhibit willingness to learn and work collaboratively
