The opportunity
This is an opportunity to lead a critical data migration workstream within a major business transformation. You will help clients move trusted business and financial data from legacy systems into Oracle E-Business Suite. By setting clear standards, improving data quality and guiding delivery partners, you will help create a stable foundation for successful implementation and long-term value. You will work closely with business leaders, data owners and programme teams, giving you the scope to influence decisions from planning through go-live.
Your key responsibilities
- Leading the data migration strategy, plan, governance framework, milestones and acceptance criteria.
- Managing the systems integration partner and reviewing migration designs, estimates, deliverables and execution plans.
- Engaging finance, procurement and operational stakeholders to agree data ownership, scope, mapping, cleansing and approval requirements.
- Driving data quality, reconciliation and remediation activities to improve completeness, accuracy, consistency and integrity.
- Overseeing mapping, conversion testing, rehearsal migrations, defect resolution and business validation.
- Coordinating cutover readiness, deployment support, post-go-live reconciliation, risk management and executive reporting.
Skills and attributes for Success
You will bring strong capability in large-scale enterprise resource planning data migration and transformation. You understand Oracle E-Business Suite data structures and can guide migration across finance, procurement and operational areas. You can set practical governance, data quality and reconciliation controls while managing complex dependencies and delivery risks. You communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, challenge third-party delivery constructively and turn technical detail into informed business decisions. Strong leadership, problem solving, coaching and programme delivery skills will help you create alignment and maintain momentum.
Ideally, You’ll also have
- Knowledge of Oracle General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, Inventory or iProcurement would be valuable.
- Familiarity with Oracle open interfaces, application programming interfaces, Structured Query Language, data extraction and transformation tools, and Oracle database environments would also be useful.
