Your Key Responsibilities

As a Senior SAP AI Lead, you will

• Design and deliver SAP Business AI, Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions using SAP Joule, Joule Studio/Pro Code and SAP BTP.
• Build and extend Joule Agents and Skills, including tool calling, MCP-based integrations, A2A communication and multi-agent orchestration for enterprise business processes.
• Design AI-enabled workflows using SAP Build Process Automation (BPA), including business rules, approvals, exception handling and human-in-the-loop processes.
• Design end-to-end AI architectures integrating SAP S/4HANA/ECC, BTP and SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) with AI and automation services.
• Integrate SAP business processes and data using OData/REST APIs, BAPIs/RFCs and SAP business APIs, supporting both data extraction and transactional scenarios.
• Develop enterprise AI grounding and RAG solutions using SAP HANA Cloud Vector Engine and Knowledge Graph, combining structured SAP data and unstructured business content.
• Implement intelligent document scenarios using SAP Document AI and Document Management Service (DMS) for document extraction, storage, retrieval and downstream AI processing.
• Configure and integrate required SAP BTP services, including destinations, Cloud Connector, authentication/authorization, service instances and connectivity.
• Use Joule Pro Code, BTP/Cloud Foundry CLI and related developer tooling for custom AI development, deployment and troubleshooting.
• Lead AI PoCs, solution architecture and customer workshops, translating business requirements into scalable SAP AI solutions while applying security, governance and Responsible AI principles.

To qualify for this role, you should have

•  A third level qualification in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 15+ years of experience in SAP technologies with a strong focus on SAP Business AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, SAP Joule, Joule Studio, and Joule Pro Code, including Agent and Skill development.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled business solutions using SAP Document AI, SAP Build Process Automation, and SAP S/4HANA/ECC.
• Strong knowledge of SAP integration technologies, including OData/REST APIs, BAPIs/RFCs, SAP Business APIs, and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Experience with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP HANA Cloud Vector Engine, Knowledge Graph, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Experience with MCP, A2A communication, multi-agent orchestration, and enterprise AI agent frameworks.
• Strong understanding of SAP document management, content services, and enterprise AI architectures.
• Proficiency in BTP/Cloud Foundry, MTA, and related development technologies such as Python, Node.js, and CAP.
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and client engagement skills, with a proven ability to lead AI initiatives from concept to delivery.
  
  

Ideally, You'll Also Have

• SAP certifications in SAP BTP, SAP Business AI, or related technologies.
• Experience with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), HANA Cloud Vector Engine, Knowledge Graph, and RAG concepts.
• Functional understanding of key SAP business processes and data models across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and HR.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or other technologies used for AI and automation solutions.
