About the Role
The Manager – Functional Lead role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the transformation of clients’ businesses. You’ll leverage your functional domain expertise, business process knowledge, and Salesforce platform experience to deliver measurable business outcomes and build digital solutions that create value for customers and employees.
You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team of technology professionals, combining functional advice with technology enablement to drive change and deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Market Focus
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across sectors (Financial Services, Corporates, Public Sector).
- Identify client challenges and develop functional capability maps aligned to Salesforce solutions.
- Lead scoping, shaping, and delivery of Salesforce-led digital transformation engagements.
- Develop and execute relationship plans to expand EY’s network and points of contact.
- Collaborate with Salesforce and EY sector specialists to create executive-level connections.
Functional Analysis & Design
- Provide functional expertise in domains such as Sales Effectiveness, Marketing Automation, and Service Excellence.
- Lead business analysis of current and future processes to define technology requirements.
- Drive functional and application design to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Capture user requirements, conduct reviews, and facilitate stakeholder alignment.
People Leadership
- Line manage and coach consultants, supporting their growth and development.
- Upskill team members on functional analysis, user-centric design, and process improvement.
- Lead project teams as Functional Lead, Programme Lead, or Workstream Lead.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and career development.
Skills and Attributes for Success
We’re looking for candidates with experience in:
- Digital transformation leveraging Salesforce and emerging technologies.
- Communicating technology value clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Delivering solutions across Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing) and ISV products.
- Facilitating requirements workshops and translating functional needs into technical solutions.
- Managing projects and stakeholders effectively in dynamic environments.
- Leading teams and fostering collaboration.
Preferred experience:
- 5+ years in project management and business analysis.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Prior consulting experience on large-scale implementations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Salesforce certifications (Admin, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Business Analyst).

- The hourly pay range for this job, in the US, is $XXX per hour. Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.
