The team and the opportunity

 

We are seeking a strategic and experienced SCM Lead specializing in Oracle Fusion SCM to own the development, growth, and commercial success of the Fusion SCM capability within the Oracle Fusion Centre of Excellence. This role will report to the Head of Oracle Fusion Centre of Excellence and will provide solution leadership while driving market growth, service innovation, and team expansion.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Business Development & Market Growth

  • Lead SCM solution design for proposals, RFPs, and major bids, ensuring alignment with client needs and market trends.
  • Identify opportunities across various sectors, including Public Sector Supply Chains, Retail, Pharma/Life Sciences, Manufacturing, and Utilities.
  • Collaborate with client account teams to expand the footprint in supply chain modernization and operations transformation.
  • Build thought leadership around digital supply chain, cloud planning, logistics optimization, and procurement transformation.
  • Support early-phase advisory work, including cloud readiness assessments, Target Operating Model (TOM) design, and supply chain maturity diagnostics.

Capability Development

  • Build and scale a Fusion SCM consulting team, creating certification and learning pathways across key modules such as Procurement Cloud, Inventory, Cost Management, Manufacturing, Order Management, Planning (S&OP, Demand, Supply), and Logistics.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level consultants to enhance functional depth and cross-module capability.
  • Support the recruitment of SCM specialists focused on functional, planning, manufacturing, and Order Management Systems (OMS).

Offering & IP / Asset Creation

  • Develop packaged SCM offerings, such as Supply Chain Cloud Rapid Start and Manufacturing Cloud Diagnostic.
  • Produce reusable assets, including process maps, configuration templates, test scripts, and data models.
  • Collaborate with the Integration & Data Lead to build SCM integration patterns (WMS, TMS, 3PLs, POS, MES).
  • Create supply chain KPIs, analytics blueprints, and reporting frameworks using tools like Power BI and Snowflake.

Delivery Oversight

  • Act as Lead Solution Architect for Fusion SCM engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with client expectations.
  • Provide quality assurance for configuration, testing, cutover, and post-go-live optimization activities.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment with ERP, HCM, and technical workstreams to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Resolve complex supply chain design issues and provide strategic advice to client supply chain executives.

 

Skills & Attributes for Success

  • 8–10+ years of experience in Oracle SCM (EBS or Fusion), with at least 3 years in Fusion Cloud SCM delivery.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering multi-module SCM transformations.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including shaping deals, building business cases, and writing proposals.
  • Industry experience in manufacturing, retail, life sciences, logistics, or utilities is advantageous.
  • A consulting background is required, demonstrating the ability to lead teams and manage client relationships effectively.
