The Team and the Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and experienced ERP Lead specializing in Oracle Fusion ERP to own the development, growth, and commercial success of the Fusion ERP capability within the Oracle Fusion Centre of Excellence. This role will report to the Head of Oracle Fusion Centre of Excellence and will provide solution leadership while driving market growth, service innovation, and team expansion in the ERP domain.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Shape and lead ERP workstream solutioning in proposals and bids, ensuring alignment with client needs and EY’s strategic objectives.
- Proactively identify opportunities for finance transformation engagements, leveraging industry insights and market trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CFOs, procurement leaders, and client programme directors to foster collaboration and drive business growth.
Capability Growth
- Develop a structured ERP capability uplift plan across Financials, Procurement, and Projects, ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Mentor and develop consultants at all levels, driving certification and skill uplift initiatives to enhance team capabilities.
- Support the recruitment of experienced hires in Finance Cloud to strengthen the team’s expertise and capacity.
Offering & IP Development
- Develop ERP-specific packaged services, such as Fusion Financials Rapid Assessment, to provide clients with tailored solutions.
- Build accelerator assets, including Chart of Accounts (CoA) design toolkits, workflow templates, test packs, and data models to streamline project delivery.
- Standardize delivery patterns and create reusable configuration blueprints to enhance efficiency and consistency across engagements.
Delivery Oversight
- Provide architecture oversight on ERP engagements, ensuring alignment with best practices and client requirements.
- Ensure quality and manage functional risks during projects, proactively addressing issues to maintain project integrity and client satisfaction.
Skills & Attributes for Success
- 8–10+ years of experience in Oracle ERP, with at least 3–4 years of experience in Fusion Cloud delivery.
- Demonstrated commercial skills, including proposal leadership, scope shaping, and solution design, with a strong track record of successful engagements.
- Third level degree preferably in Finance or a Business-related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot integration issues and optimize processes.
- Innovative and agile, with a purpose-driven mindset.
- Inclusive and able to work effectively in diverse teams.
- Passionate about technology and eager to learn and grow.
- Client-focused, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service.
