Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform Technical Consultant – Senior Manager

At EY, we are expanding our Microsoft cloud practice and specifically building our Technology Consulting (TC) team. Due to this expansion, we are seeking to recruit high achieving Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform Technical Consultant to be part of our growing business and to support us in our NextWave Strategy. 

The opportunity

By joining the Technology Consulting team as a Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform Solution Architect, you will be helping our clients to utilize Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform. You will lead pre-sales engagements, provide expert services to solution large complex deals that span multiple technologies and offerings.

You will lead the delivery team and provide Solution Architecture guidance and direction leveraging your deep knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform. You will use your breadth of IT knowledge to help our clients navigate their journey to the cloud and develop and implement solutions to meet their business requirements.

Your key responsibilities

• For Power Platform: Model Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, PowerApps Portals / Power Pages, Power BI, and Power Automate.
• For Dynamics 365 CE: One or more of the following: Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Marketing, Omnichannel, Customer Voice.
• Azure basics: Service Bus, Storage, Logic Apps, Functions
• Experience integrating with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, C#/Web Development

• Define solution architecture including roadmap, risks, cost, and timelines.

• Convert requirements to functional specs and design documents

• Create high quality technical and functional documentation.

• Create high quality technical and functional documentation.

• Design secure and scalable solutions.

• Run client workshops and translate requirements.

• Work with technical teams to meet client needs.

• Lead reviews, proposals and client discussions.

• Support testing and user training.

To qualify for the role you must have

• In-depth experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), specialising in enterprise-grade solution architecture, configuration, and custom development across core business functions.
• 5+ years of leadership experience, including managing technical managers and team leads, with a focus on building high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams and driving delivery excellence across large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

• Minimum 5 years development experience

• Minimum 5 years architecture experience

• Experience developing Microsoft D365/Power Platform ideally in a Consultancy role or similar.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Should have experience in using Azure DevOps
• Excellent communication skills along with good analysis and documentation skills
• Should have a positive and can-do approach
