The opportunity 
As a delivery lead, you will work alongside a team of international experts in technology, business and the healthcare industry. The end-to-end development and implementation of digital health products is at the core of the DHEC, with you we want to further strengthen our technical expertise. 
 

Your key responsibilities 

• As delivery lead, you are ensuring for the timely delivery of innovative mobile software solutions at high quality for our healthcare clients.
• In your role, you will collaborate with clinical teams, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to prioritize and address health-specific software needs.  
• As technical expert, you work together with the product and development team in the definition of delivery processes and quality gates, you coordinate governance, and you communicate requirements. 
• Additionally, you will be responsible for near- and off-shore technical teams, vendors and external partners to ensure our products are consistent and reliable, as well as provide training and support in 
  business development.

Skills and attributes for success 

• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing 
• skills for both technical and business audiences. 
• Proficiency in the local language of your country of residence is required.  Fluency in German as well as English (written and verbal) is a pre-requisite. Knowledge of 
• additional languages will be appreciated. 
• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills. 
• Ability to work under tight timelines for multiple project deliveries in parallel. 
• Ability/flexibility to travel. 

To qualify for the role, you must have 

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Mathematics, (Software) Engineering or other related field with strong IT focus. Master's or further certification are advantageous. 
• Minimum of 5-7 years of working experience in implementing large-scale custom applications on mobile or web-based platforms, ideally in a healthcare context. 
• Deep understanding of software development in iOS and/or Android using e.g. Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose or webbased frameworks, e.g. flutter or react.  
• Deep understanding and proven experience in steering the software delivery in agile project setups, e.g. SAFe, SCRUM, Kanban. 
• Understanding of governance interfaces with IT operations and support organizations. 
• Proven work experience in planning and execution of quality assurance measures regarding the delivery model and the delivery of software solutions along the SDLC process. 
• Proven work experience in driving international project teams and managing different stakeholder groups, e.g. project managers, Scrum masters, product owners, business analysts, developers, and infrastructure and security architects.  
• Experience with steering off- and nearshore development teams. 

Ideally, you’ll also have 

1. A reliable network in the healthcare industry and a consulting track record. 
2. A good overview of industry technology trends and emerging technologies, understand how they apply to our healthcare clients and can drive their adoption into our projects. 
3. A solid understanding of health-specific interoperability formats, e.g. HL7/FHIR, SNOMED, OMOP, openEHR. 
4. A good knowledge of system integration in medical system landscapes between software products of various clinical domains, e.g. Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Clinical Information Systems (CIS), ClinicalData Repositories (CDR), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), communication servers and interoperability platforms.
