Role Summary

  • Lead the EY Ireland Cyber Artificial Intelligence solution set across multiple clients and sectors.
  • Address immediate Cyber requirements in our clients including
    • AI Scoping and Architecture
    • Data Security & Privacy implications related to AI
    • Model Security Reviews related to AI
    • Application and Infrastructure controls related to AI
    • Compliance, Ethics and Risk validations related to AI
  • Lead the development of security strategies for AI systems, ensuring alignment with security goals and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage a team of security professionals, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in AI systems, processes and supply-chains and propose realistic solutions for complex security challenges.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and develop innovative AI security solutions for various local and international projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the monitoring, analysis, and prioritization of security events, working closely with clients to keep them updated and informed.
  • Identify and recommend practical solutions and enhancements for complex challenges, including business and IT alignment in response to events.
  • Direct and oversee AI Security strategies and actions to ensure that AI systems cyber events are assessed, contained, mitigated, and reported.
  • Experienced in managing delivery, budgets while balancing quality client outcomes, timelines, and budget constraints.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Knowledge of data governance, privacy regulations, and risk assessment to protect sensitive information in AI applications.
  • Skills in threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, and adversarial machine learning to ensure the security and integrity of AI models.
  • Understanding of access control, network security, and monitoring practices to safeguard AI systems.
  • Familiarity with ethical AI principles and regulatory compliance to ensure responsible AI use.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks while effectively communicating with stakeholders about AI-related concerns.
  • Certifications including : Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on AI technologies and security management.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
