The Opportunity
We are currently hiring for a Senior Manager role in Business Continuity Management (BCM). This leadership position within the Enterprise Resilience team focuses on shaping and delivering BCM strategies for complex organisations, driving market growth, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Our BCM services include:
- End-to-end BCM programme development
- Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessments
- Disaster recovery planning and testing
- ISO 22301 compliance and assurance reviews
- Crisis management exercises and operational resilience advisory
The successful candidate will be a senior BCM professional with proven leadership experience, excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and a track record of delivering resilience outcomes in complex environments. They will have deep knowledge of the BCM lifecycle, ISO 22301 standards, and regulatory resilience expectations. Experience in leading large-scale transformation programmes and managing multi-disciplinary teams is essential. We are seeking an influential leader who is passionate about helping clients achieve strategic goals and benefits through improved continuity capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Client Responsibilities:
- Lead complex BCM engagements for large organisations, ensuring delivery excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and execute BCM strategies aligned with client objectives and industry best practices.
- Provide senior-level advisory on operational resilience, crisis management, and continuity planning.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions and risk posture.
- Lead presentations and proposals for high-complexity BCM engagements and contribute to market development initiatives.
- Create innovative insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership.
- Drive improvements by taking responsibility for Quality & Risk Management (QRM) initiatives, ensuring compliance with EY standards.
Internal Responsibilities:
- Lead account management activities including business development, financial management of engagements, and quality and risk management.
- Build and maintain strong internal networks across EY service lines to enhance client propositions.
- Develop and support presentations and proposals for prospective and existing clients.
- Mentor and coach team members, providing performance feedback and supporting career development.
- Drive recruitment and team-building initiatives to strengthen Enterprise Resilience capabilities.
- Actively contribute to EY’s growth strategy through thought leadership and market positioning.
Skills and Attributes Required to Apply for this role:
- 10+ years experience in BCM/resilience, including disaster recovery and operational resilience advisory.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale BCM programmes and managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Deep knowledge of BCM lifecycle, ISO 22301 standards, and regulatory resilience frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with experience influencing executive leadership.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive business development initiatives.
Ideally, you will also have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field, Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional qualifications such as CBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor, PRINCE2 or PMP.
- Experience in market development and thought leadership within resilience consulting.
- Exposure to portfolio management, PMO, and benchmarking best practices.
- Experience in regulatory resilience programmes.
