The Role
EY Ireland is looking for an outstanding Senior Videographer to join our creative team. Creative is EY Ireland in-house creative department leading the visual identity and production of key go-to-market materials, campaigns and events. We are a multifaceted team including filming, photography, broadcast, graphic, motion and document design. We enable EY and our stakeholders to effectively visually and creatively communicate their ideas.
A normal day for the Senior Videographer will see you work on a variety of projects from concept to final delivery. You may be working independently acting as the main point of contact for the stakeholder and/or as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will work closely and collaborate with our Operations, Design and Media teams. This is a hands-on role requiring both technical proficiency and strong creative vision.

If you have the talent to turn content into compelling visual stories, you have the skills to script, shoot, edit and sound produce materials that will bring concepts to life then this is the role for you!
Your key responsibilities
- Collaborate with creative managers, leads and stakeholders to understand project briefs and objectives
- Work with stakeholders to gain a better understanding of their needs
- Plan, shoot and edit high quality video content for a range of platforms
- Source and manage supporting assets such as music, stock footage, and voiceovers
- Ensure all outputs align with the firm’s brand and visual standards
- Identify resources required and effectively delegate appropriate tasks on projects in collaboration with the Manager group and/or Video Manager
- Contribute to storyboarding, scripting, and ideation processes
- Operate cameras, lighting, audio and other production equipment on set
- Complete recordings in our studio, offices and out on location
- Maintain an organised workflow including file management, versioning, and backups adhering to the Creative team processes
- Mentor junior members of the team
- Support and work with freelancers where required
- Transport, set up, and manage equipment, ensuring everything is ready and functioning correctly before a shoot
- Effectively maintain equipment ensuring everything is ready and functioning correctly for shoots both on and off site.
Skills and attributes for success
- The ability to effectively communicate with clients, teams, and on-screen talent to ensure everyone is aligned on the creative direction and production requirements
- Ability to work under tight and changing deadlines
- Agility to move from project to project as timelines and priorities change
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong storytelling, visual composition, and editing skills
- Experience of directing talent on set
- Quick to identify opportunities and problems
- Project management skills
- Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines to delivery
- Focused on delivering great stakeholder experience, every time
- Experience in photography is beneficial
You must have
- 4- 5 years+ experience in video production
- Technical proficiency using professional video cameras, audio and lighting to capture the best image
- High level experience using Adobe Premiere Pro
- Familiarity with scripting
- Familiarity with social media formats, platform specifications, and best practices
- Problem solving abilities
- Confidence presenting ideas and solutions
- Ability to think independently, to make decisions under pressure whilst balancing competing demands
- A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating your video production skills is required
- A valid and clean full driver's license
You should have
- The ability to translate concepts and ideas into compelling visual stories, choosing the right angles, lighting, and editing techniques to enhance the narrative
- Strong eye for detail and diligence ensuring every output maintains a high standard of quality
- Knowledge of After Effects and wider Adobe suite beneficial
- An understanding of accessibility best practices in video production
- Commercial acumen
- Industry awareness of video editing and filming trends
- Experience in client relationship management
- Awareness of media laws and best practices
- Production or agency experience is a plus but not essential
