The Team and the Opportunity
We are recruiting for several large global SAP S/4HANA implementations. Amongst a variety of exciting career opportunities within our SAP practice, we are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Consultant at senior consultant level.
As a consultant in EY, you will become a key member of our SAP team. Your role will focus primarily on delivering SAP services to a large global client implementing SAP S/4HANA, with a secondary focus on support and broader practice development. In this role, you will help develop high-performing individuals and teams, supporting them to deliver exceptional client services.
You will play a key role in strengthening existing client relationships and helping our clients—leaders in the Financial Services industry—navigate complex finance issues. As part of this growing team, you will also help shape the innovative culture that makes EY such a great place to work.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on current and future SAP needs, including S/4HANA business case, business transformation, roadmap, and implementation
- Consulting on design workshops to understand client industry and business requirements, and to design and implement best practice solutions
- Supporting business process re-engineering, particularly in the S/4HANA Finance space
- Sharing knowledge of best practice within the group and across other disciplines in the firm, as well as developing other members of the SAP team
- Playing a key role in planning and managing client projects throughout all phases
- Being part of a large team that supports different streams of work for SAP projects
- Maintaining current relationships with clients and building new ones
- Supporting the development of the SAP practice, including internal team activities and facilitating external client events
- Understanding our service offerings and actively identifying opportunities to better serve clients
To Qualify for the Role, You Should Have
- A third-level qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or relevant experience
- Experience in SAP Finance implementations in a consulting or similar external client-facing environment
- Proven experience in implementing SAP Finance processes such as new General Ledger, Finance General Ledger processing, Accruals, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting, Management Accounting (CO), Profitability Analysis, Cash Management, Credit Management, and Budgeting/Planning
- Strong understanding of core financial processes and best practice solutions in SAP Finance
- Experience working in a Managed Service environment
- Experience with or understanding of S/4HANA Finance, including key benefits and implementation scenarios
Ideally, You Will Also Have
- SAP FICO certification; Project Management certification is desirable
- Implementation experience of SAP Central Finance would be beneficial
