Join our Technology Strategy & Transformation Consulting team as a Manager, Senior Manager or Director, where you will have the opportunity to shape and guide technology strategies that help our clients in the financial services sector enable their business and customer strategies. In this role, you will lead experienced technology consultants, engage with executive level clients in the financial services industry, and to shape the development and implementation of impactful digital & technology solutions to address their most complex issues.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

Client Advisory Leadership:

  • Lead a diverse team of tech strategy consultants in delivering comprehensive solutions spanning digital strategy, CTO domain advisory, agile transformation, IT cost optimisation, technology operating model design, and applying digital across business operations.

Executive Client Engagement:

  • Engage with business leaders across the financial services sector to deeply understand their technology challenges and objectives, providing insight and strategic problem-solving support.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of bespoke strategies that align with client goals and deliver measurable benefits.

Strategic Frameworks Expertise:

  • Apply strategic planning and management frameworks to assist clients with decision making and sequencing of major technology investments.
  • Provide clients with insights of technology adoption and governance.

Service Delivery Leadership:

  • Direct the delivery of technology assessments, strategy development, and oversee complex project executions.
  • Ensure excellence in service delivery by setting and maintaining industry-leading best practices.

Strategic Direction for EY’s FS Tech Strategy Capability:

  • Play a leading role in the development and ongoing delivery of a strategic plan for EY’s Technology Strategy & Transformation team, ensuring alignment with the firm's vision and responsiveness to market trends.
  • Drive the innovation process to continuously advance our technology strategy services.
  • Foster and champion, a culture of continuous learning, high performance, and knowledge sharing, setting an example for team members.

Business Development Leadership:

  • Identify and pursue strategic opportunities, leading the creation of proposals for tech strategy services.

Knowledge Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in tech strategy, mentoring team members and enhancing internal knowledge bases.
  • Spearhead the creation of thought leadership materials, establishing the firm as a leader in the field.

Cross-Practice Integration:

  • Lead collaborative initiatives with other practice areas to deliver comprehensive, integrated client solutions, ensuring a unified approach to client challenges.

 

 

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Eagerness to pursue relevant professional certifications (Agile, PM. Technology Certifications).

 

Ideally, you will also have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in technology strategy, digital transformation, or IT advisory, with exposure to consulting or leadership roles.
  • More experienced candidates will be considered for a Director level role within the team.
  • Experience working with top tier consulting firms.
